Prayers for Girls and Prayers for Boys are great choices for parents looking to introduce children to the importance of prayer.
The perfect impulse purchase for moms and grandmas with little ones, these padded board books are complete with adorable art and an affordable price! They are a great year-round purchase but make an especially perfect gift for Easter baskets! Bright, colorful, and with the right amount of text to hold a child’s attention, these books also have handles for little hands to carry.
Prayers for Girls comes in a vibrant, eye-catching magenta—the perfect gift for any little girl for Sunday school or birthday party. Prayers for Boys comes in a fun, happy blue, and it also serves as a great gift for any occasion. Prayers for Girls and Prayers for Boys go beyond merely an attractive cover—they seek to teach little ones the value of prayer.
I really loved these books. I had the opportunity to review them both since I have a daughter and two sons. The book is perfect for children up to age six. It has rhyming words and its beautifully illustrated. The handles on the books make it easy for kids to carry and mines took theirs with them to visit their grandparents. I liked that it showed them that it was fine to prayer any where and any time, out lour or quietly, with friends or parents, and inside or outside. I liked that it is helping my children feel comfortable with saying prayers, this is very important because as they get older they will continue to pray. The books also drives home the message that God is listening to them, that he hears their words and he is there for them each and every day. It only takes five minutes to read it to your children. My husband reads the books to our kids and then they say their prayers before going to bed. We already encourage them to prayer and they have a prayer memorize for bedtime.
I would recommend this book for younger children and it can be for any occasion. It’s a great christening/baptism gift as well. Also great for birthdays, Christmas, Easter or a just because gift.
