Bible Description:

Make the Bible relevant to your life! How can a book that was written thousands of years ago help teens with the challenges they face every day? Ignite is an interactive Bible that will introduce today’s teens to the Word of God in a fresh and unique way with features that introduce parts of the scriptures that are often overlooked or ignored. Ignite will deepen both understanding and devotion.

Features include:

  • Find It Fast—A table of contents and topical index on the inside cover so it’s easy to find what you need
  • Spotlight—In depth features about the big story of God and His people
  • White Hot Topics—Articles that deal with major issues that teens face today
  • Flash Points—Smaller articles that introduce teens to topics and stories they don’t know are in the Bible
  • Sparks—Highlights of Bible promises to deepen faith
  • Soul Fuel—Relevant verses pulled out for memorization

My thoughts:

Up until a few years ago I never really though about how different versions of the bible can appeal to you in different stages of your lives.  I was just use to the old bible we had in our house that when I was on the market to get my own after graduating college I realized that their are lots of great offers on the market.  The NKJV Ignite bible for teens is a great choice for parents who are in the market for a bible for their teenager.  It’s the perfect gift for a thirteenth birthday so your teen has it throughout their teen age years.  It is a soft cover bible, it has a gritty feel on the outside of the book so a nice book cover may help keep it protected and safe over the years.  The edges of the pages has a nice orange hue and it’s all through the bible.  This bible really does speak to teens and the issues they currently face day to day.  It’s a great way to get teens to build a better relationship with others and deepen their faith in God.

READ  Young Women of Faith NIV Bible Review

The find it topic index was so easy to use and it was right in the front of the bible making it perfect for use.  I also loved the spotlights in the bible.  It gives a passage to read, they break it down and explain it, then a section for live it to help teens apply the passage and then they give information of where to find the next spotlight.  This is the same format they also use for the white topics, and some flash points.  I highly recommend this bible for any teens in your life.
