Five Things to Do In Vegas During Your Girlfriends Getaway

Five Things to Do In Vegas During Your Girlfriends Getaway

Five Things to Do In Vegas During Your Girlfriends Getaway
Las Vegas is a popular vacation destination, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with friends. One of my sisters loves visiting the Vegas Strip with her friends. They prefer to wing it when visiting, but with a set plan and a great guide to an unforgettable day in Vegas, I think you can see and do a lot more. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, here are five things to do during your girlfriends’ getaway.

Get Pampered at a Spa

Start your trip by getting a spa treatment when you arrive in Vegas with your friends. Book one of the signature treatments at ESPA at Vdara, complete with a massage, facial, and scalp massage. Follow up with a new hair do at Dry Bar. Start your night with Dry Bar’s on-site DJ and an exclusive cocktail.

Tour the City With a Helicopter Tour

Plan a tour of the Grand Canyon and see one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Guests have a few options for the tour, including visiting the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon or choosing a picnic option. Adrenaline USA offers six tour options ranging in price from $89 to $399, depending on the length of the tour and where you’re visiting. Tours that focus on the Strip are cost-effective and last about 15 minutes or less.

Plan a Cocktail Tasting Experience

Start your night out on the town with a cocktail tasting experience. When traveling, I like to try local cuisine and drink specials. It’s a great way to experience the area and build on your memories. Chandelier Bar has a unique cocktail menu that varies from floor to floor. Spend the first half of the night trying different cocktails, and then spend the other half dancing the night away.

Drai’s Beachclub sits on the rooftop at The Cromwell. With two pools and stunning views of the Vegas Strip, it’s the perfect place to sit and take in the sights of the city.

Enjoy a Fancy Dinner

Skip all the chain restaurants when visiting Vegas. Instead, check out the local dining scene or dine at a celebrity chef’s restaurant. Giada De Laurentiis’ award-winning GIADA serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant also offers gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Yardbird offers up Southern comfort food on the Strip. Known for fresh ingredients and inventive recreations of Southern fare, Yardbird is a must.

See a Show

No trip to Vegas is complete without a show. Performers like Celine Dion, Britney Spears, and Elton John are currently in residence and headlining on the strip. Magic Mike Live at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a great way to end a girlfriends’ getaway. Hitzville at Planet Hollywood will have you singing, dancing, and reliving memories of the Motown era. Cirque du Soleil has a few shows in Vegas, including Michael Jackson ONE. Before you go, check to see what shows are available at each hotel.

Whether you’re visiting Vegas with a group or alone, there’s something for you to do and enjoy.
