Let’s talk fiber.  We all need it in our diets but for some of us we just don’t get it in there.  One of my twin sisters is like that.  My youngest sister’s are twins and they both have horrible eating habits.  Not that we all have the best habits (for years my only veggie choice was corn), but for some reason they are worst.  The oldest twin only likes to eat noodles and sweets and the youngest twin thrives on fried foods.  Even my hubby and I have to increase our fiber in take so I was excited about trying the fiber bars from GNU Foods.  I bet you’re probably wondering can you really increase your fiber intake with flavorful bars?  Trust me you’d be surprised at the how much fiber is packed into these bars.

These bars come in a variety of flavors so there is probably something you will want to try.  The flavors includes; Espresso Chip, Chocolate Brownie, Lemon Ginger, Orange Cranberry, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Raisin, Banana Walnut, Blondie, Carrot Cake and Blueberry Cobbler.  With so many choices it’s easy to get find something that works for you.  These fiber bars has 48% of your DV of fiber.  They are great for adults and kids as well, helps with diets and weight management, supports heart health and promotes ongoing natural regularity.  If you already include fiber in your daily diet then compare your choice with GNU bars and see how they measure up.  You’d be surprised at the results.

I’ve since replace my afternoon snacks with a fiber bar, I really was excited about the chocolate brownie thinking it would be my favorite because I love chocolate but I was surprised that my favorites are probably the Cinnamon Raisin, Orange Cranberry and Carrot Cake bars.  I’ve also been very generous with my bars since I got a nice sampler pack I’ve shared them with my husband, two of my sisters, my mom and my husband even took a few to his job to place in their snack lounge.  I’ve really enjoyed the bars and was pleasantly surprised at the taste and all the flavor in these bars.  Since I don’t eat a lot of foods high in fiber I had to get accustomed to the texture of the grains but all the flavor in the bars made that very easy to do.  I definitely recommend you check out the GNU Foods store and grab a few of these bars.  It’s a very easy way to increase your fiber intake.  The bars cost $1.99 each, $9.45 for a 5 pack and $27.04.  They also have a new selection of minis.  You get 20 mini bars in a tub for $19.99 those flavors includes; banana walnut, chocolate brownie and cinnamon raisin.
