My Life Ingredients with Alpine Lace Deli Cheese

This is a sponsored post for Alpine Lace but my Life Ingredients are my own. It’s been a very busy couple of months with a newborn and a toddler who requires so much attention at home it’s not easy.  I have been trying my best to stay up to date and current on all my blog postings and everything else in life.  It’s been rough.  You know those funny postcards you see about motherhood and you laugh thinking wow that can’t be true, well I’m here to say that in a lot of cases it’s actually true.  One of those things that always seem to get me is staying energized or even eating period.  I can’t tell you how many times I get so caught up with the kids that I find myself having dinner at 9:30 at night.  Lunch sometimes get skipped and breakfast is usually something I have to grab and go.  That’s why I like having Alpine Lace Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese on hand for a quick snack option not only for myself but for my kids as well.

Did you know? – Most varieties of Alpine Lace® Deli Cheese are reduced fat, perfect for snacking on the go or adding delicious flavor to your favorite sandwich. Its great taste comes from high-quality ingredients, and it provides a good source of protein and calcium.  You can purchase Alpine Lace Deli Cheese at any Walmart with a deli section and if you live in the Northeast like I do you can purchase it at one of the following retailers: Shop Rite, Big Y, Stop & Shop, Martins, Acme, A&P and BJ’s.

My family loves their cheese and picking a reduced fat option makes it better for them and makes me feel better about them using it for snacking and quick meals.  One of the ways my kids enjoy their cheese is as Turkey & Cheese Roll Ups. IMG_1105 Making the roll ups is so easy.  I just take two slices of roasted turkey deli meat and a slice of Alpine Lace Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese. IMG_1107 I rolled up the deli meat and cheese and serve with fruit.  This time it was mandarins but it can be grapes, apples, bananas or even veggies.  It’s really up to your child’s taste buds and what they feel like eating that day. IMG_1108 I love it for my toddler because it’s easy for him to pick up and feed himself when I am feeding the baby.  Lunch or snack time is a breeze and cleaning up is also easy. IMG_1109 For myself I make a quick snack cracker to give me a boost to get through the day.  When the baby naps it helps me get time to do housework and when the toddler is napping it also gives me some more time to get some work done around the house.  I made a quick snack with crackers, my Alpine Lace Swiss Deli Cheese and smoked turkey deli meat.  It’s quick and also has very little clean up and gives me a boost to get through homework time, dinner, bath time and bedtime. IMG_1110 Despite having a rough day at times, I love being a wife and mother.  I love my children and they are part of what makes me whole.  Life wouldn’t be the same without them and that’s why my life ingredients is about my family and as long as they are happy so am I.  So here’s my life ingredients thanks for Alpine Lace for helping me share it with my family and friends.   Alpine Lace® Deli Cheese helps fuel your busy day, providing you the energy and deliciousness to prepare you for your next adventure. You are Mom awesome Nickida, that is such a good and healthy lunch for your son. I’ll have to remember to do this for my grandson the next time I go and visit him. He loves his cheese!
