Superior Note Taking Pads & Journals from TOPS

Disclosure: I am a Shoplet Blogger and was provided samples for review from Shoplet and TOPS.  Any and all opinions are my own and have not been influenced.

I have to admit that I don’t take notes very often.  Even when I was in school I didn’t do it that well but I did love writing and jotting down ideas I had for things I wanted to do or recipes I wanted to try.  I also loved writing stories.  I recently had the opportunity to try some superior note taking pads & journals from TOPS through the Shoplet Blogger program.  I jumped at the opportunity to try out these products and see how they worked.  I received a package with three different items.  First the Tops Collective Creative Journal – TOP56874

I really liked this journal.  It was the perfect size for carrying in your purse at all times (well if you have a large purse like mines).  I also liked the bookmark that’s on the journal.  It also helps you keep track of exactly where you are in the book.  It has a very professional look, so it doesn’t look cheap or like an item for a child.  It’s great for creating grocery lists, taking quick notes, friendly reminders, addresses and so much more.  I think that this is the perfect companion to keep with you for any of your writing needs.  I also received the Tops Idea Collective Notebooks – TOPS56879.

Tops Idea Content Notebooks

These notebooks were great for my young daughter.  She loves drawing and writing and it was great for her to keep your drawings and notes.  They would also work great for office workers when heading to meetings, it’s much better than the typical notepads that can easily tear off because they don’t have a cover.  The nice soft black cover makes them sleek and professional.  It’s also more  of an adult type journal.  Now I can easily write down blog ideas and keep them in one organized place.  My final product was the Cornell Notetaking System Legal Pad – TOPS77103

I never really noticed that I was probably taking notes in a way that wasn’t totally beneficial to me.  The Cornell system that this pad uses features three writing sections one for cues, notes and the summary section.  Now you are sure to keep track of everything you need.  This was a great tool for me when doing conference calls for product reviews with vendors.  I can take notes, get all the cues and important features they discussed during the call and summarize at the end.  It’s a great product that I think any business person would do well with.  I got two different sizes, each with fifty perforated sheets so they are easy to remove from the pad.  They also have a blank line for the date and the purpose of the meeting or lecture.

You can visit Shoplet and see for yourself all the different office supplies they offer and learn about the many other features of their site.  I also recommend you check out the Promotional Products section if you are looking for affordable items for your business.  You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

  1. What a nice notebook. While I try to do things electronically now, I still like taking pen to paper often!

  2. Perfect timing…..I’m actually shopping for a journal pad right now. :)

  3. I love the nicer notebooks. They are so awesome. even though I have electronic gadgets to take notes, I still prefer the notebook/paper and pen method.

  4. I know a lot of people like online tools like evernote, but some things I just need to write down to work through them in my mind.
My 3 year old likes to draw and can write a few sentences so this journal would be great for him.
