We live in such a digital age almost everything we own is some kind of portable device. I even know people that only have a cell phone as their primary means of contact. This means they need to always make sure their cell phones are charged and ready for use, especially when you are facing power outages. Last fall when the hurricane hit the east coast, although we were not hit as badly as NY and NY we did lose power in MD. In my area we were without power for two days so even though we have a corded phone at home it’s connected through our cable modem and wasn’t working shortly after we lost power. Since we knew the storm was coming we charged our cell phones but still wasn’t enough to get us through the two days. Now we don’t have to worry about this problem as much because of our eFreesia Bar Mobile Power Charger.

This little portable charger is light weight and easy to carry. It’s almost like you were carrying a second cell phone. You can keep it in your purse, briefcase, travel bag, glove compartment, lockers, any where you want to make sure it available for use when you are running low on power and need to recharge. When my eFreesia Bar arrived the instructions said to put it on the charger for a few hours so it could fully charged and then it’s ready to go. When you turn on the unit it has four blue lights on the front so you know how much power it currently has. The box also had the cables for me to connect my bar to the computer to charge it up or to use on my Android cell, there was also a cable to charger my iPad 2. Every thing you need to stay connected on the go is right in the box.
The photos above is the unit turned on with the lights showing how much power it has and the second is showing that it’s charging my iPad. I have used this to charge my phone, iPod and iPad products. When I charged my iPod it was dead and it fully charged it in under two hours and it still had three of the lights on the unit so that means I could still charge something else. It’s a no-brainer that I recommend this to anyone with a mobile device. eFreesia also carries a mini charging unit and a duo built to charge two devices at once.
These are great to add to any tablet, cell phone or iPod gift. It’s a great gift for the tech lovers in your life and the bar is currently priced at $29.99, making it an affordable and very useful gift. Also a great gift for recent grads or newly weds. Really it’s just a great gift for anyone. Keep one at home, the office and in your purse so you never to have worry about staying connected on the go because you have power at your fingertips.
