I love subscription box services, I’ve written before that it’s like getting a surprise in the mail each month. It is also a great way to try new products for a fraction of the cost. For example you see a product you really want to try but not sure you want to spend the money to buy a full-sized product, then you get a sample in your monthly box and try it and love it. Now you can go out and buy the product with confidence you’re going to get your money’s worth. It can also work in the reverse that you get the sample, try it and don’t like it at all, now you didn’t spend the money on the product and you don’t have left over product going to waste. It’s a win-win and also a great way for new products to get exposure. There are subscription boxes for all kinds of things from kids clothes, crafts, food, and boxes for gamers and men. One thing I have taken notice of is the increase of gluten-free and vegan products on the market. It’s so much easier for people who need or choose these products to find them and buy them. That’s one think I liked about Healthy Surprise. Another was the amount of products included in one box.
You can see some of the goodies from my box on my Google+ album. The box I got was the starter box. It had between 16 to 22 servings and could be used to feed up to three people. There were a lot of items in the box. I didn’t get photos of everything in my box. It’s priced at $33 a month plus $6.95 shipping. Another great thing is when you order you order ships the same day if it’s placed before 3:00 PM PST. You can gift the box to someone else or get it for yourself. I liked trying, or attempting to try the items in the box. Some I gave to family members because there were so many in the box and all of my items well individual sizes, most had two servings and definitely bigger than a sample. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great vegan or gluten-free snacks or get it as a gift for someone you know.
Disclosure: I was provided a starter box for review from Healthy Surprise. Any opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced.
