I Wish I Was a Pianist.

I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano. Its been a dream/desire of mines since I was growing up. I really don’t know why I wanted to learn how to play it but I think it had something to do with your fingers on the keys and creating something wonderful that you can play for other to enjoy. I always imagined myself playing at a winter concert or in a classical band. Its really odd because I don’t listen to classic music that often. It must have come from some kind of movie or something that just stuck with me from childhood.

  3. Piano is a harmonic instrument, there is a close relationship with the bass. The pianist may play a chord that suggests a different bass note or the bassist may substitute an unexpected bass note that affects the choice of a chord voicing. Though accompanying the soloist well is extremely important, it is also important for the rhythm section to have a good rapport so as to create a good feeling and sound for the soloist. Think of the rhythm section as being the canvas for the soloist to paint on!
